Maximise learner engagement with an interactive explanation and summary. Setting the scene with input from the learners, such as asking them about the boat positioning within the lock, helps reinforce earlier learning. Having received a clear and concise brief using these visual aids, the students will be able to relate the explanation to the practical activity. At the end of the session, an experience of working or helming the boat into the lock themselves, it can be really powerful to encourage the learners to summarise the key learning points using the models.
All items within the pack have embedded magnets, transforming the roof of the boat into a large visual aid allowing for maximum visibility. Wind and rain present no problem for these robust teaching aids.
The pack contains 7 pieces:

The lock is 22.5cm long and 9cm wide. The boats are 12cm long and are eye-catching, coloured to encourage learners to engage.
